The winter series of lectures of the Military History Society of Ireland will begin on Thursday in Griffith College, South Circular Road, Dublin. Dr Tadgh O hAnnracha in, of University College Dublin, will deliver a paper entitled "The failure of the confederate Munster army, 1645-7: mutiny, conspiracy or bad generalship". The lecture starts at 8 p.m. and non-members are welcome.
