Menuhin violins fetch £835,000

London - Yehudi Menuhin's collection of violins and bows sold for a total of £835,248 at auction in London yesterday. Lord Menuhin, one of the most celebrated violinists of the century died in Berlin in March. He put the collection together over a period of almost 70 years.
