Two young men who were banished from their family homes due to drug activities have been jailed for robberies.

Two young men who were banished from their family homes due to drug activities have been jailed for robberies.

Jason Glynn (21), of Cloverhill Road, Ballyfermot and Joseph Abbott (21), of Primrose Park, Darndale admitted assault with attempt to steal, and robbery of, cash from shops in the city centre on August 28th and 29th, and September 3rd, 1996.

In Dublin Circuit Criminal Court yesterday, Judge Cyril Kelly jailed them for five years but said he would review their cases on November 16th, 1998.
