Residual matters of costs and fulfilment with a court direction in the case of the DPP versus Mr Frank McBrearty were adjourned at Donegal Court yesterday. The DPP withdrew 115 charges against Mr McBrearty and members of his family and staff at the court two weeks ago.
The issues had been adjourned until yesterday's court where two associated cases against Mr Michael McConnell and Mr John Mitchell, of Raphoe, were to be heard. Defence counsel for Mr McBrearty had applied to Judge John O'Donnell to award costs to his client and for the DPP to furnish the defence with documents relevant to Mr McBrearty's case.
It was adjourned to Carndonagh Court for June 18th.
