Hyderabad - Seven militants, including three women, from the outlawed Maoist People's War Group (PWG) were killed in a shoot-out with police in the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh yesterday.

The PWG, which controls large forest tracts, has called for a boycott of elections to parliament later this month.
