Steven Manly has broken another Irish record, his second in just over 24 hours, at the Irish Open Short Course Championships heats in Lisburn.

The Terenure swimmer added the 200 metres freestyle record to the 100 metres medley he broke yesterday at the Lisburn LeisurePlex.

Manly came home in a time of 1 minute 48.77 seconds to take a record that has stood since 1992.
