A hepatitis C positive man who bit three gardai and tried to strangle one of them has been jailed for 12 months at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court. Graham McNally (27), Cappagh Avenue, Finglas, Co Dublin, pleaded guilty to assaulting Sgt John Doyle, Garda Seamus Magee and Garda Aidan Flanagan on July 18th, 1999, at Barry Road, Finglas.
