Air and sea rescue teams are this morning searching for a man swept out to sea after becoming separated from a group of people trapped in a cave on England’s Cornish coast.
According to coastguard reports, the 11 people were camping in the cave before getting trapped by the tide.
Land-based rescue teams are trying to assist the others escape from the cave near Newquay. Weather conditions are reported to be poor in the area with high winds hampering the search.
The missing man - understood to be 27-years-of-age - was last seen just after 8 a.m. (Irish Time).
