Man stable after Dublin shooting

Gardai are investigating the shooting of a man in Ballymun last night. The man, in his 20s, was walking along Balcurris Road at about 11.45 p.m. when he was approached by two men who had stepped out of a grey car. It is believed the men fired one shot into the victim's stomach. The man was taken to the Mater Hostpial where he was said to be ill but stable.
