Man stabbed to death in Tallaght

A man has been stabbed to death in an overnight incident in Tallaght, west Dublin.

A man has been stabbed to death in an overnight incident in Tallaght, west Dublin.

It is believed the man (23) was stabbed a number of times in the chest during a row between two groups outside an apartment complex at the Cushlawn Dale estate at about 12.30am.

The incident began outside a late-night shop and moved over towards the apartment complex.

The man was taken to Tallaght hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The scene was preserved and examinations were carried out by the Garda Technical Bureau.

Gardaí have begun a murder investigation. No arrests have been made.
