Man shot in shoulder in Dublin pub

Gardaí are investigating a shooting incident which occurred on a licensed premises in north Dublin last night.

Gardaí are investigating a shooting incident which occurred on a licensed premises in north Dublin last night.

Two men entered the pub on Barry Road, Finglas shortly before 11 pm last night and approached another man in the toilets, one of the men fired a sawn-off shotgun wounding the man in the shoulder.

Both men left the scene on foot while the injured man was brought to the Mater Hospital.

Gardaí said his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
