A 19-year-old man has been hospitalised after a paramilitary-style shooting in north Belfast last night.

A 19-year-old man has been hospitalised after a paramilitary-style shooting in north Belfast last night.

The incident happened shortly after 4am this morning in the Jamaica Street area of Ardoyne.

A number of masked men dragged the man to the ground before shooting him in the leg.

His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
