A man was being treated in Dublin's Mater Hospital last night after being shot in the doorway of his home at Sackville Avenue, Ballybough. The 25-year-old victim was hit in the buttock, but his injuries were not life-threatening. The gunman escaped. Gardai said the incident, which happened at 10.45 p.m., had the hallmarks of a gangland attack.
