A man who was found with 10 stolen mobile phones and accessories in his house was given a 3 1/2 year suspended sentence by Dublin Circuit Criminal Court yesterday

The goods were worth more than £3,000 but Harold Howard said he had paid two juveniles just £200 for the lot, Garda Peter Duff said.

Howard (29) pleaded guilty to handling the stolen items at Melrose Park, Dublin, on December 10th, 1995. The goods had been taken earlier in a burglary at the Phone Factory premises at Swanward Industrial Estate in the city.
