Gardaí are investigating the discovery of a body of a man in a ditch in Dublin today.
The body was found this afternoon in a field close to Bellgree Avenue in Tyrellstown, Dublin 15.
The body has not been identified at this stage. The area has been sealed off and a technical examination is underway.
The State pathologist Dr Marie Cassidy has been contacted and a postmortem is expected to take place tomorrow.
