Man rescued after cliff walk fall

A young man escaped serious injury when he was rescued by a coast guard unit after falling from a cliff in Co Cork today.

A young man escaped serious injury when he was rescued by a coast guard unit after falling from a cliff in Co Cork today.

The Coast Guard Unit rushed to scene after the man fell while walking at the Bull Rock, a 300ft high cliff near Crosshaven.

Members of the local fire brigade were on hand to help the coast guards, who arrived within five minutes of receiving the emergency call at 12.17 p.m.

The man was not seriously injured, the Irish Coast Guard said.
