A Kildare man has been remanded in custody for the manslaughter of a mother of three children in a traffic accident almost three years ago. Thomas Barrett (34), a married man and an electrician, of Churchtown Little, Kilcock, pleaded guilty at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to the unlawful killing of Paula Kelly of Lucan on the Lucan by-pass at Newcastle junction on October 14th, 1996.
