A 46 year old man was remanded on bail on 43 charges of rape, indecent and sexual assault on a female now aged 18 at Ballina District Court yesterday. The offences are alleged to have been committed between 1991 and 1995.
The accused was remanded on bail to Ballina Court, Co Mayo, on April 23rd on his own bond of £1,000, an independent surety of £2,500 and a cash lodgment of £2,500. Legal aid was granted.
