Man remanded on arms charge

A 21-year-old Limerick man was charged with firearms offences at Limerick District Court yesterday.

A 21-year-old Limerick man was charged with firearms offences at Limerick District Court yesterday.

Mr David McCarthy, of O'Callaghan Avenue, Killeely, was charged with having a sawn-off shotgun in his possession with intent to endanger life on June 11th at Craeval Park, Moyross, and with causing serious harm to Mr Paddy McNamara on the same occasion.

He was remanded on an independent surety of £3,000 and a personal surety of £1,000 until July 2nd.
