A Kilkenny man who pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of his brother has been remanded for sentence by Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.

Bernard Carroll (58), of Piltown, Co Kilkenny, admitted the unlawful killing of his brother, Mr James Carroll, at their home on a date between December 14th and December 18th, 1993.

Judge Kieran O'Connor remanded him in custody for sentence on December 1st next.
