A Kilkenny man has been remanded in custody for sentencing by the Central Criminal Court for sexual offences against a neighbouring girl when they were children. The man, now 22, pleaded guilty to eight charges on dates from 1992 to 1996 at the victim's home.
Mr Michael Durack, prosecuting, said the victim was about seven when she was first assaulted. Mr Justice Patrick Smith remanded the guilty man in custody for sentence on January 15th next.
