Man quizzed on Finucane case missing

A man questioned in connection with the murder of Belfast solicitor Pat Finucane has gone into hiding.

A man questioned in connection with the murder of Belfast solicitor Pat Finucane has gone into hiding.

Mr Ken Barrett fled his home in the north of the city following the assassination of William Stobie by loyalist paramilitaries.

Police sources tonight confirmed officers visited Mr Barrett to warn him about his personal security.

Although it was thought he had gone into protective custody, one source insisted this was not the case.
