A man was being questioned by RUC tonight about the rape of a 17-year-old girl at the weekend.
He was arrested earlier today by detectives investigating the attack on the girl close to a nightclub in Toomebridge, Co Antrim in the early hours of Sunday.
The distressed girl was found by bar staff from the Elk Inn on waste ground close to the nightspot.
RUC officers interviewed scores of revellers who had been at the nightclub and viewed video footage from security cameras before they made the arrest.
