Mr John O'Mahony, of 71 Boherbee, Tralee, who is charged with the murder of Ms Margaret O'Sullivan (40), at McCowens Lane, Tralee, on August 18th was remanded in custody by consent at Tralee District Court yesterday.
The body of the separated mother of three was found in her flat on August 19th.
