Man missing in Galway since New Year's Day

Extensive searches yesterday failed to find a 26-year-old man who has been missing in Galway since New Year's Day.

Extensive searches yesterday failed to find a 26-year-old man who has been missing in Galway since New Year's Day.

Michael Molloy, originally from Tullamore in Co Offaly, but who has been living in Galway for the past three years, has not been seen since leaving a pub after celebrating the start of the new year.

He is described as 1.72m (5ft 8in) tall, about 10 stone, of medium build, with a red-faced complexion, short black hair, and blue eyes.

When last seen he was wearing dark blue jeans and a long-sleeved beige top, and a green waist-length army type jacket.
