A man in his 60s has died after a road crash in Inishowen, Co Donegal. He was named locally as Danny Doherty, a welder from Quigley’s Point.
The crash happened outside the town of Moville just after 5pm yesterday, some time after gardaí had issued an urgent warning about black ice on many stretches of road across Co Donegal.
The scene of the crash was closed overnight with a forensic examination expected today.
