Man killed in collision in Louth named

Gardai have named the victim of a fatal collision outside Drogheda yesterday.

Mr John Reilly (81) of Rudder, Stamullen, Co Meath, died after the crash at Tullyallen yesterday evening.

Gardai have not yet named the man who was killed in a two-car collision on the M1 motorway at Tullyallen, Co Louth last night.

The accident occurred at 10.05 pm on the southbound lane of the motorway when two cars collided.

The deceased, a man in his 60s, was the driver of one of the cars. His body was removed to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.
