A 31-year-old man has been killed in a car crash in Co Kildare.
Gardaí said the two-car collision occurred on the M4 westbound at Kilmore at about 1.25am.
The man, who was driving one of the cars, was pronounced dead at the scene. He has been removed to Naas General Hospital. The driver of the other vehicle in the second car received minor injuries, a Garda spokeswoman said.
There were no passengers in the cars.

Forensic collision investigators are at scene and the road is closed with diversions in place.
