A middle aged married man was killed in a fatal accident at 8 p.m. last night in Ballina, Co Mayo, when his car and a lorry collided at a junction on the main Ballina/Foxford road. Gardai are not releasing the name of the man until relatives have been contacted. The driver of the lorry was not injured.
