Man in court over large cannabis find

A man appeared in Limerick District Court yesterday charged in connection with a €150,000 drug seizure on Sunday.

A man appeared in Limerick District Court yesterday charged in connection with a €150,000 drug seizure on Sunday.

Michael O’Neill, of Ballyvauden, Kilteely, Co Limerick, was charged with having cannabis resin for sale or supply following the drug seizure at a house in Kilteely. He was granted free legal aid yesterday.

Judge Eamon O’Brien remanded Mr O’Neill in custody with consent to bail to appear before the district court on May 2nd.
