Man hospitalised after Belfast shooting

A man is in hospital after being shot twice on the outskirts of west Belfast last night.

A man is in hospital after being shot twice on the outskirts of west Belfast last night.

The 26-year-old was picked up in the Ardcane area of Belfast by three masked men in a light-coloured car shortly after 11pm.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland said he was found a short time later at Whiterise in Dunmurry. He had been shot in both legs.

Police in Lisburn are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have information to contact.
