A man was today arrested by police investigating the theft of cash machines in Northern Ireland.
The man (44) was detained in the Derrylin area, Co Fermanagh, on suspicion of attempted theft and criminal damage near Dungannon, Co Tyrone, on June 29th, 2009.
Thieves have used mechanical diggers to rip ATMs from walls across Northern Ireland. There have been 13 stolen in the past year.
The spate of ATM thefts has led operators to offer a £25,000 reward for information about those responsible.

Last month it was announced less money was to be stored in machines deemed vulnerable to attacks. The ATMs targeted have invariably been in quiet rural locations.
