A man is being held by gardaí in Co Wexford following the seizure of drugs worth an estimated €500,000.
Some 30kg of cannabis was discovered at Rosslare Europort yesterday.
A Revenue spokeswoman said the drugs had been concealed in the tyres of a vehicle which was part of a container-load arriving on a ferry from France.
"The drugs were discovered following a scan of the container by Revenue's mobile scanner," she said.
A man in his 60s was arrested at the scene and is being detained at Wexford Garda station.
