A 21-year-old woman has been found dead in Cavan.
A man has been arrested and is being detained held in Garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
The scene has been preserved and the State Pathologist has been informed.
The woman's body was found in Glenlara, Swellan, in Cavan town shortly after 7.30 this evening.
