Man guilty of Dublin manslaughter

A man has been found guilty of the manslaughter of his friend in the Central Criminal Court today.

A man has been found guilty of the manslaughter of his friend in the Central Criminal Court today.

The jury found Karl Breen (27) of Nangor Crescent Clondalkin guilty of the manslaughter of Martin McLaughlin (21) by a majority of ten to two.

Breen stabbed Mr McLaughlin three times during a party at the Jurys Inn Hotel in the early hours of January 1st 2006.

Mr Justice Kevin O'Higgins will set a date for sentencing next Wednesday.
