Man found dead in Dublin flat was Chief Justice's son

The Garda has named the man found dead in a flat in Harold's Cross, Dublin on Friday.

The Garda has named the man found dead in a flat in Harold's Cross, Dublin on Friday.

He was 39-year-old Timothy Keane, son of Chief Justice Ronan Keane and former social diarist Ms Terry Keane.

Detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding Mr Keane's death, but do not believe it was suspicious.

It is believed he may have died as a result of a heavy fall.

His body was discovered by his landlord at around 1.30 p.m. on Friday.

It is thought Mr Keane may have been dead for several days.
