A 25-year-old man will appear before Coleraine Magistrates Court today in connection with the discovery of arms and paramilitary equipment in Ballymena Co Antrim on Wednesday.
Two sawn-off shotguns, a single barrelled shotgun and three handguns; along with ammunition, pipe bomb-making equipment, balaclavas and cudgels were recovered during a search of a house in the Drumtara area of Ballymena.
The man is charged with possession of firearms with intent and possession of explosives with intent.
