Man due in court over €3.5m drugs seizure

A man in his twenties is due in court this morning charged in connection with the seizure of drugs worth €3

A man in his twenties is due in court this morning charged in connection with the seizure of drugs worth €3.5 million in Dublin yesterday.

The haul included about 30 kilogrammes in cocaine, one kilogramme of heroin and some 30,000 ecstasy tablets.

The Garda National Drugs Unit and Customs Officers made the seizure at about 7 a.m. yesterday when a lorry was stopped and searched on the Old Airport Road at Santry.
