A pensioner has died in a house fire in Limerick city.
The 73-year-old man was found dead downstairs in a house in St Mary's Park, Limerick city last night.
The Fire Service and gardaí were alerted to the blaze at the house on St Munchin Street at about 11.40pm last night.
A number of units attended the scene.
The fire is not being treated as suspicious.
