A man has been killed in a crash in Co Tyrone this morning.

A man has been killed in a crash in Co Tyrone this morning.

The man, who was in his 40s, was the driver of a car involved in a collision on the Moneymore Road near Cookstown just before 10am.

The driver of the second car was taken to hospital but his injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.

In a separate incident, 13 people needed treatment after a crash involving a bus and a tractor.

The collision happened during torrential rain on the Lisnevanagh Road between Ballymena and Antrim.

Twelve passengers along with the bus driver were taken to hospital suffering from shock.
