A 23-year-old man appeared before Dublin District Court this morning charged in connection with the death of a homeless, teenage girl in a derelict house in Dublin last month.

Philip Reddin, of no fixed abode, was arrested yesterday as part of a Garda investigation into the death of Niamh Murphy (17) from Galway.

She was found with her throat slit in a derelict house in Ballsbridge, Dublin.
