A 25-year-old man was charged at Wexford District Court yesterday in connection with the death of a young man in the town early on Sunday morning.

Mr Nicholas Donnelly of Talbot Green, Wexford, is charged with assault, causing harm to Mr Gordon Farrell (20) at Bernadette Place on September 23rd.

Sgt Ken Piper applied for a remand in custody. Judge Donnchadh ╙ Buachalla remanded the defendant to appear before the court again on October 1st.
