A man is recovering today from cuts and bruises sustained when he was beaten by a gang in his Co Tyrone home.
Three masked men burst into the house in Koran Square in Strabane at around 10.30 p.m. last night and beat the man, who is in his thirties, with iron bars in the living room.
They dragging him outside where they tried to set fire to his car. The victim's mother was in the house at the time.
Police in Strabane have appealed for information about the attack.
