Istanbul - Two lawyers representing Kurdish rebel leader Abdullah Ocalan were attacked in downtown Istanbul yesterday, the Turkish Human Rights Association IHD said.
Mr Ahmet Zeki Okcuoglu and his wife, Ms Eren Keskin, president of the IHD's Istanbul chapter, were attacked by unidentified men as they walked through the Taksim neighbourhood in central Istanbul, an IHD spokeswoman said.
The spokeswoman said the men insulted Mr Okcuoglu and Ms Keskin and struck them several blows.
