Man arrested over fatal shooting of gangland boss Eamon Dunne

A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of gangland figure Eamon Dunne more than two years ago.

A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of gangland figure Eamon Dunne more than two years ago.

The suspect, in his mid 30s, was arrested in the Dublin area early yesterday

He is being held at Mountjoy Garda station under the provisions of section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act.

Dunne died on April 23rd, 2010, after being shot in the head and body in the Fassaugh House pub in Cabra, Dublin.

Gardaí believe four men were involved in the 34-year-old’s murder, which was seen as one of the most significant gangland killings in a decade.
