A man is being questioned on suspicion of terrorism offences after a raid on a house in Manchester, British police said today.
The man (27), was seized in a raid on the house on Elmfield Street, Cheetham Hill, Greater Manchester, yesterday and is being held under the Terrorism Act.
The house is now being searched by police.
The arrest is not related to the alleged plot to blow up transatlantic airliners, police added.
