A man (21) has been arrested in Derry on suspicion of arson.
The arrest was made following an attack on a house in Fergreen Park in the Shantallow area last night.
The occupants of the house were alerted by some noise at about 3.00 a.m. and found their front door on fire.
A man was seen running away and was arrested shortly afterwards. There were no injuries.
