Gardaí arrested a man in Tallaght, Co Dublin, this morning and seized an imitation firearm.
Responding to a call at about 11.30am in relation to suspicious activity outside a premises at Castletymon Shopping Centre, gardaí arrested the man (29), and he was taken to Tallaght Garda station.
He is being held under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
