A man has appeared in court today in connection with a €1.7 million cannabis seizure in north county Dublin yesterday.
The 47-year-old was remanded in custody and will appear before Swords District Court next week.
About 2.5kg of cannabis resin was seized in a planned search of a premises in Balbriggan yesterday. The man was arrested following the discovery of the drugs, which are estimated to be worth about €1.75 million.
