A man is due to appear before a special sitting of Craigavon Magistrates Court in Co Armagh today charged with a number of serious offences.
The 37-year-old is due to be charged with two incidences of threatening to kill, two incidences of common assault and also with criminal damage.
The charges relate to an incident in Portadown centre late last night.
